Some Details:

This is a typical example of the computer art practically anyone can make with available software and some ideas. It's the ideas that count. This image should occupy 320x240 pixels on your screen, but actually downloaded as 640x480, explaining any delay. It is not copyrighted, but I would appreciate if people respected that it was my personal emblem for a while.

I used an obscure ray-tracer to do this, one that also used Phong highlighting, which is a part of the work. Copy this at will, look at it, or be motivated to try somehting like this with your own ideas.
